Pakistan’s automotive sector has endured significant challenges in recent years, with ongoing struggles persisting. Despite this, there also have been some positive developments amidst the adversity.
Issues like price increases, reduced production, and sluggish sales have heavily impacted local car assemblers. However, amidst these drawbacks, customers have found silver linings. Not only have they witnessed a shift from ‘ON’ to positive ‘OFF’ culture, but they’ve also been enticed by attractive installment offers coupled with price reductions.
In the meantime, following Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC), Peugeot Pakistan is also among the local carmakers announcing offers and price cuts.
The Offer
In a recent update, Peugeot Pakistan has introduced an 18-month installment plan for both variants of the Peugeot 2008. This financing option allows Peugeot enthusiasts to acquire the car by making a 50% down payment.
For the Active variant, the monthly installment amounts to Rs. 209,723, while for the Allure variant, it stands at Rs. 230,556. The 50% down payment for both variants is Rs. 3,775,000 and Rs. 4,150,000, respectively.
Earlier in this March, the company reduced the price of its crossover SUV, Peugeot 2008. According to a social media post by the company, the prices of its two variants, Active and Allure, had been reduced by Rs. 100,000. The new ex-factory prices were applicable from March 8, 2024.
Peugeot 2008 New Price
After a decrease of Rs. 100,000, the new price of the first variant, Active, is Rs. 6,950,000 instead of Rs. 7,050,000. Meanwhile, the cost of this variant in installments is Rs. 7,550,000.
The second variant, Allure, also observed a reduction of Rs. 100,000, and its new price is Rs. 7,700,000 compared to the previous Rs. 7,800,000. The price of this variant in installments is Rs. 8,300,000.
