Pak-China Merged to Produce Cool Mini EVs

Rechargeable electric vehicle culture is finally on the go in Pakistan. With numerous brands launching their electric bikes, cars, and scooters like MG, Yadea, Toyota, and Seres Huazi Green Energy is the next cake in town. Pak-China Huazi Green Energy Electric Cars Project update

As reported, Gwadar Pro and the CEO of Huazi Green Energy Pvt. Ltd, the project of mini electric cars will be executed in two phases of 2-door and 4-door EVs targeting the middle- and lower-class sectors of Pakistan. However, the company has already acquired land in Hattar Special Economic Zone in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where plant infrastructure will be developed.

The company aims to start delivery from the middle of 2024 along with a gradual technology transfer in two to five years. This is a USD 5 million project between Pak-China that will enable Pakistan to export these mini EVs to Turkey and Europe too.

Specifications

These mini EVs will be available in four variants with a driving range between 128 Km to 219 Km. However, other features will be alloy wheels, power steering, sporty seats, side mirrors with navigators, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD). Moreover, these cars will have a lithium battery with a warranty of 100,000 Km or 4 years.

    To me, it appears to be temporary business by Pakistanis and that’s it. I don’t foresee any productivity whatsoever. Majority of these would run away after getting some money 💰 and filling up their pockets, without traces. Only afew would remain, therefore public has to think twice before buying their products duly considering EVs future in Pakistan due non availability of charging stations and exorbitant prices.
