Salam everyone. Have a tire pressure question for the pros.
2015 Suzuki every join turbo, tire size is: 145/80/13, 75 LT.
Stock tire size is 145 80 12
Now, the door jam lists pressures as follows:
I have been running 35 psi all around however the ride is very rough thanks to road condition. Very uncomfortable and stiff, especially for the rear seat passengers.
I was taking a family member with health issues and reduced the psi to 30 yesterday, I was shocked at how nicely it rode. Very smooth and comfortable.
So, my question is, what psi can I safely run to avoid tire damage. Tire life is not a major concern as they are cheap Chinese branded. I just don't want a blow out or anything. I usually monitor pressures once or twice a week.
Vehicle is 98 percent in town driven only. When use on ring road, max speed I will drive is 90-95 and with tire pressure at 35. I have a compressor and gauges at home. Also, usually only 2 people, but on occasion, max of 4 passengers. When it's loaded, I usually run 38 (heavy load only, like a trip from the airport with suitcases). Max pressure on tire lists 44 and I don't want to go above that.
Any knowledge is appreciated!
