The 2nd Generation Honda Insight was introduced in 2009. Honda Insight is a front engine front wheel drive hybrid electric vehicle. Honda launched the 2nd Generation Honda Insight in direct competition to the Toyota Prius. The Honda Insight (2009-2014) is based on the same platform that underpins the Honda CR-Z. The exterior of the 2nd Generation Honda Insight features a unique design language. Features on the highest end EX variant includes allow wheels, turn signal indicator mirrors, heated mirrors a standard, 6-speaker stereo audio system as standard and leather upholstery as standard. Options on the higher end variants include heated door mirrors, satellite navigation, auto-dimming rearview mirror, cruise control, 6-speaker stereo system, compass and leather upholstery. The overall interior of the 2nd Generation Honda Insight features a good amount of space in the front and rear and a decent amount of cargo capacity. It provides a good level of combination of comfort, refinement, and luxury.
