A couple of months back we introduced a new entrant in the market of electric scooters ‘Yadea. This automaker is a huge name in China for electric bikes and was introduced in Pakistan through the local bike giant Road Prince. With its competitive looks and innovative technology T5 vouches for a wholesome contribution to plummeting carbon emissions in the country. Let’s scroll below to read about its first drive review.

First Impression

If you are a regular bike rider, a scooter will surely give you unique vibes at the start due to its lower and constrained posture and comparatively lesser speed than a bike. But as soon as you switch on the Yadea scooter its digital meter and rocking aesthetics will provoke you for a happy ride.

Promising Features

The most attractive specification of T5 is its TTFAR technology that points towards a regenerative braking system, first of first introduced in Pakistan in the two-wheeler sector. Moreover, the OEM claims a 50 Km top speed. However, in sports mode, it was giving 55 Km with a claimed range of 105 Km. This scooter comes with a front disc brake which works exceptionally well on bumpy grounds while the rear drum brakes’ efficiency seemed average.

With a nicely cushioned seat and ample storage space, the T5 holds two footrests for the driver and the pillion rider respectively. Along with the DRLs, this scooter has also got hazards that turn on with indicators to allow other riders to know about its momentum.

Final Verdict

Overall, Yadea T5 looks like a good quality product with an amazing feature of regenerative braking that helps increase mileage in stop-and-go traffic. However, it has a good road balance and maneuverability which helps take tight turns. But the suspension worked average during the rough roads.

We will further check this cooter with load and on steep areas to find out more about its resilience and efficiency. So, if you wish to read an expert review of the Yadea T5 electric scooter, stick to our PakWheels blog so you will remain notified when we update it on our channel.
