Emirates NBD offers non resident account. 20k Dirham will be minimum fixed amount that one must keep in account at least. To open a bank account, you need to visit UAE, get a mobile number, visit Bank and deposit usual docs like
Passport Copy
2 Utility bills
6-month bank statement
Salary/invoicing letter
Once approved by the bank, your account will be opened and you can use online banking etc
My remittances are on hold for past six months while I was trying to figure to deposit my funds safely outside Pakistan.
There is another South African FNB bank that offers a similar account and there is no need to visit also however that is a bit risky as access to SA isn't easy as UAE just in case something goes wrong.
If you or anyone works remotely and earns more than 3500 USD per month then there is a virtual work visa of UAE that will get you extendable residency in UAE for 1 year in start and you can open account and live there as well.
I'll plan to go UAE soon to get the non resident bank account, probably right after EID...
