Judges Cars engine power (cc) has been increased On January 29, 2020, as the Director-General, Directorate of District Judiciary, Lahore High Court, Lahore issues a letter to District & Session Judges that they are ready for the allotment and distribution of newly purchased Toyota Corolla (XLI, Model 2019) amongst Additional District and Session Judges across Punjab.
Before issuing this letter, all these Judges were driving, earlier allotted Suzuki (Cultus) vehicles/cars. Furthermore, Judges who are being allocated newly purchased Toyota Corolla (XLI Model 2019) are being requested to surrender their in-use Suzuki Cultus cars as well. Note here that it is not mentioned whether they are being given auto or manual version of the car, however, below we have mentioned the price of both manual and auto variants:
Toyota Corolla XLi VVTi: PKR 2,519,000
Toyota Corolla XLi Automatic: PKR 2,619,000
The newly purchased Toyota Corolla in replacement of Suzuki Cultus for Punjab’s additional and Session Judges are being given to 34 judges of the Punjab Province.

Must be wonderful to change your perks at whim on taxpayers dime. Any wonder taxes have increased exorbitantly? Apparently, the Law-Whore court judges were ambling for shiny new cars.
