In an interesting turn of events, Ghandhara Nissan, as per our credible source, has imported 5-6 JAC T6 pickup trucks in Pakistan.
These CBU units will be used for testing purposes. It is imperative to mention here that last year it was reported that the company would soon launch double-cabin pickup JAC T6 in Pakistan. We also confirmed the news at that time from the official dealer. And now it seems that, at last, the vehicle will be shipped to the Pakistani market.

As per our source, the double-cabin pickup truck will be equipped with 2.0L diesel turbo engine coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission that produces 134 hp at 3600 rpm and 320 Nm of torque at 1600-2600 rpm. Moreover, the dimensions of the vehicle are 5315mm x 1830mm x 1815mm (length x width x height) and have a wheelbase of 3090 mm. The loading capacity of the vehicle is 1041 Kg. Moreover, the price of T6 might be around 3 million PKR.
The vehicle is available in different countries across the globe including the Philippines.
Internationally, JAC T6 comes with many features:
- Tyre pressure sensor
- Power windows
- Bluetooth connectivity
- Multifunction steering wheel
- Central locking
- Infotainment system
- Air conditioning
- USB port
- Camera for park distance control etc. However, it is not known if the similar features will be available in the locally sold T6 as well.
Aside from testing JAC T6 on Pakistani roads, Ghandhara Nissan will be launching three Datsun models in H2 of 2020 in the local market for its customers. As per details, the company will be assembling 1200cc Datsun Cross in July of 2020 whereas 1200cc Datsun Go and Go+ will be rolled out later in 2020.
