HRV has at least 8 inches of leg room from your knee in sitting position. The knee room at the rear can only be compared to oshan x7 future sense as they have used the actual space of a seven seater into a 5 seater car so obviously the room will be more. My children had relaxed in it during my visit and return from murree in december and mostly my children are happy other than the one sitting in the middle row as that is raised about minimum 2 inches from the rest of the area.
Now if i make a cushion for the left and right seats to equal in height the middle seat then the roof room decrease quite a lot. As my son is 5. 11 in this becomes a problem for him. So even the middle seat of hrv is not good but it is still 5 times better than the middle seat of cross.
I obviously wanted to by cross due to it being toyota AND hybrid, but unfortunately it is not suitable to my requirements of 3 persons seat at the back.Even if you sit in the drivers seat in the cross you will feel it to be congested, and if you don't believe me please go and visit toyota showroom and sit in the drivers seat and then visit honda showroom and sit in the drivers seat of hrv, you will then make your own decision.
however for people totalling 4 persons, then the cross is fine and fit for them but definitely not for a family of 5 persons (only if the children are small)
