It's about time the entire forum layout is updated. A few questions and suggestions:
Why do we have Toyota section on top of the forums? Also, why few toyota vehicles are in 4×4 section, while few in toyota section? Before you point out because they're 4x4, then why is Hilux not in the 4x4 section?
Why is there a huge dedicated section to Daihatsu? Please name one Daihatsu vehicle still being sold brand new by Indus?
Why no Dedicated sections for new auto players? Every new carmaker is dumped in "other cars".
Instead of dumping Landcruiser, prado, fortuner subsections in the 4x4 section, these should be in their respective manufacturers sections and the 4x4 area should be reserved for aftermarket 4x4 threads, modifications, rally, and things people do to their suvs that make them capable offroaders. Fortuner comes in both 4x4 and 4x2 from factory? So what's it doing in 4x4 section? Please think over this so the sections are not vague and serve a purpose.
IMO the forum layout should be more like this:
Forum Rules (topmost section - so people are more likely to read)
General Car discussion
Technical section
4x4 section
Modified and sports cars
Vintage Cars
Bike Forums
Now start the manufacturer specific forums( toyota, honda, kia, Hyundai, suzuki, mg, proton, glory, etc)
Buy and Sell
Travel and Tours
Casual
Non-wheel discussion
Site feedback
The current layout looks like was made with indus motors' input so they put the Toyota section on top. Regardless of the reasons of the current layout, it is now outdated and the admin needs to look into a major overhaul. Also, I would strongly suggest not to put manufacturer specific forums on top (like it is now) even if they bring more traffic - because this discourages the creation of a technical environment that is conducive to more DIY type and educational threads which infact are the true essence of pakwheels.
I hope this does not fall on deaf ears.
