In an impressive move, the government of Pakistan has approved Jeep tracks for hilly as well as for remote areas. According to Express Tribune, the project has been approved under PM’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program to cater to the needs of people living in hilly and remote areas. It is a sigh of relief to those who travel to those regions of the country with Jeeps. Additionally, it is pertinent to mention here that a steering committee recommended the cabinet to build jeep tracks in areas which were inaccessible and after a comprehensive discussion the cabinet finally approved this project.

As of now, no specific details have been released by the authorities, as to which areas come under this approved project; also it is yet to be revealed that how much this new extension in SGDs initiative will cost and from where the government would start making jeep tracks.

The rail car service was halted back in 2011, and it was re-launched by Railway Minister at a hefty cost of over three hundred and sixty million rupees. The train will connect Kohat with other parts of the country, providing safe and economical travel to the people. Moreover, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi inaugurated Lyari Expressway after 15 years, making it fully functional now. The project was destined to be completed in 2003; however, due to unforeseen reasons, the project was delayed again and again.
