Toyota IMC secures 4 medals in Asia Pacific skill contest

Indus Motor Company (IMC) has secured four medals including 1 Gold medal at the Asia Pacific skill contest 2018 held in Thailand. The contest is held annually by Toyota Global in an aim to evaluate the capacity of its daughter companies around the globe. Team Pakistan defeated its counterparts including the arch-rival India as well.

A total of 16 members from Indus Motor Company participated in the event and showed their talent and skill on the international forum. IMC Toyota won two Bronze medals, one Silver and one Gold Medal, the details are as below:

  • Gold Medal: Zohaib Mehmood in group leader category (Assembly Shop)
  • Silver Medal: Haseebullah in team member category (Assembly Shop)
  • 1st Bronze Medal: Rahatullah (Paint Shop)
  • 2nd Bronze Medal: Yasir Hussain Shah (Assembly Shop)

CEO IMC Toyota, Mr Ali Asghar Jamali said that this is a great achievement for our country and it shows the talent and skills that our members have, compared to their counterparts in the region. And this also shows the efforts we put into our products so, that our consumers use them without any problem.

Out of 12 Toyota affiliated companies from eight countries, 146 contestants participated in the Asia Pacific skill contest.
