Honda Atlas cars get pricier from this month
Honda Atlas, one of Pakistan’s car manufacturers, announced the increased prices of its lineup, today.
According to the statement released by the company, the impact of negative exchange rate and the increase of 1% additional import duty are the reasons for this price hike. The price hike is in the range of 30,000 – 100,000 PKR and has come into effect from today, i.e. 2nd July 2018.

Honda is not the first automaker to increase car prices, in fact, this is the fourth time Honda alone has increased the prices of its vehicle lineup. Other automakers like Toyota, Pak Suzuki and AL-Haj FAW have also increased car prices with a massive difference.
By a careful estimate, the US Dollar is expected to go as high as Rs130. So it would not be surprising to see at least one or two more price bumps before the year 2018 ends. The new fiscal year has begun with increased prices, let’s see how the whole year unfolds.
